Hi Neighbors!

I grew up in a small farming community in Illinois, part of a middle-class family.  I spent most of my formative years hunting, fishing, playing sports, and doing farm work as I prepared for college.  I attended the University of Illinois, graduating in 2002, and then went on to attend USMC officer candidate school in 2004.  

My wife is a pediatric neurologist, and we have two young sons, aged three and one. We moved to Suffolk in 2022 for her job and have since fallen in love. We now have some additional property in Isle of Wight County for hunting, fishing, and friends.  

I completed six deployments as an infantry officer, ultimately retiring in 2024.  I’ve been considering a run for the VA2 seat for some time, and it becomes more urgent as Jen Kiggans has abandoned her responsibilities and campaign priorities in service of the MAGA agenda.  

I want to invite you to a small gathering at my home, where you can share your thoughts and ask any questions you may have about me as a potential candidate. We’ll have a photographer available to commemorate the occasion and help get the word out if we decide to take on Jen together.
