Governor Elect Abigail Spanberger, Democrat
Abigail Anne Davis Spanberger is an American politician and former intelligence officer who is the governor-elect of Virginia. A member of the Democratic Party, she served from 2019 to 2025 as the U.S. representative for Virginia's 7th congressional district.
Spanberger was elected governor of Virginia in 2025, defeating Republican nominee Winsome Earle-Sears. Upon taking office, she will be the state's first female governor.

Lieutenant Governor Elect Ghazala Hashmi, Democrat
Ghazala Firdous Hashmi is American politician, academic administrator, and educator who is the lieutenant governor-elect of Virginia. A member of the Democratic Party, she has served as a Virginia state senator for the 15th district since 2020. She is the first Asian American and Muslim elected to statewide office in Virginia, along with being the first Muslim woman to win statewide office anywhere in the United States.
Born in India and raised in Georgia, Hashmi earned a PhD in English from Emory University. In 2019, she was elected to the Virginia General Assembly and re-elected in 2023. As the Democratic nominee in the 2025 Virginia lieutenant gubernatorial election, Hashmi defeated Republican nominee John Reid by a margin of 11 percentage points.

Jerrauld Charles Corey "Jay" Jones is an American politician and attorney who is the attorney general-elect of Virginia. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for the 89th district from 2018 to 2022.

Representative Jen Kiggans, Republican
Jennifer Ann Kiggans is an American politician and nurse practitioner serving as the U.S. representative for Virginia's 2nd congressional district. A Republican, Kiggans is a former United States Navy helicopter pilot. She defeated incumbent Elaine Luria in the 2022 election and was re-elected in 2024.

H. Otto Wachsmann Jr. is an American politician and pharmacist who is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for the 83rd district. He was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates 75th district in November 2021 and assumed office on January 1, 2022. Due to redistricting, Wachsmann’s district became the 83rd district.
In 2025, Wachsmann was re-elected. He is next up for election in 2027.

Delegate Nadarius Clark, Democrat
State Delegate, District 84
Nadarius Clark worked as a campaign organizer for Tim Kaine from when Senator Kaine was Virginia’s Governor. Clark became the youngest ever representative at 26 years old. The minimum age to be a representative is 21 years old.
At the start of the 2024-2025 session, Clark introduced a bill that would prohibit the collection of medical debt if collection proceedings didn't start within 3 years of the due date on the final notice.
In February 2024, Clark introduced a bill to cap rising rents.
In 2025, Clark was re-elected. He is next up for election in 2027.
