Bill Robinson

Charles W. “Bill” Robinson

CHAIR

Bill has been a resident of Isle of Wight County for the past 20 years and currently lives in Carrollton. He served with distinction in the U.S. Army for 23 years, followed by two decades as a Department of Defense civilian. His military career included deployments to Afghanistan and numerous other overseas assignments. Bill is a disabled veteran enrolled in the VA system.

He and his wife, Sherry, are the proud parents of five children and are grandparents to five grandchildren.

Since retiring, Bill has become an active supporter of the Democratic Party. His commitment to political engagement has only deepened in response to the excesses of the Trump Administration. He firmly believes that protecting the Constitution, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring liberty and justice for all requires unity and a collective effort to turn Virginia and the United States Democratic blue.

Kimberly Robertson

VICE CHAIR

Kimberly Robertson became a resident of Isle of Wight County in 2023 after a lifetime of service and leadership across the United States and abroad. A U.S. Air Force veteran and military spouse, she has lived in multiple states and countries, gaining a broad perspective on the challenges facing families, veterans, and working communities.

Kimberly retired from USAA, a Fortune 100 property and casualty insurance company, after a distinguished 35-year career. As a Project Manager, she held numerous leadership roles and was consistently recognized for her ability to manage complex initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver results in highly regulated environments.

Her priorities for Isle of Wight County focus on strengthening economic and physical security, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and preserving a safe, family-friendly community where residents can thrive.

Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from the University of Maryland and is an internationally certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.

Her civic and political experience includes serving as President of the Bexar County, Texas Democratic Women’s Political Action Committee, as an executive board member of the USAA Employee Political Action Committee, and as an Elections Officer with both the Isle of Wight County and Bexar County, Texas Elections Departments. She has also served her community as a Girl Scouts USA Troop Leader and Training Coordinator.

Kimberly brings deep organizational experience, disciplined leadership, and a strong commitment to public service to her role as Vice Chair

Greg Brown

TREASURER

Greg is a Civil Engineer, and a proud Virginia Tech Hokie!

He worked in construction for over 20 years in several US states and one Canadian province before returning home to Smithfield to settle down.

He likes reading, biking, old movies, and baking.

Ember Zado

SECRETARY

Ember graduated from Tidewater Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, in Sociology, and in Liberal Arts.
She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Management and Society.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Harvard University’s Extension School.

Ember is a US Navy Enlisted Veteran, proud mom to a Windsor High School Duke, and a fan of dance music and gardening.

Inetha Holmes

Isle of Wight Electoral Board Chair

The Isle of Wight County Electoral Board is a three-member panel appointed by the Isle of Wight County Circuit Court Judges, based on nominations from the two political parties that received the most votes in the most recent gubernatorial election. The Governor’s party has two representatives on the Board, and the party receiving the next highest number of votes has one representative. Inetha Holmes is the representative on the board for the Democratic Party.
